GNU Free Documentation License What kind of jobs can I look forward to by learning french? Q. Im in French 2 at my school and it doesn't seem that hard but Im 100% sure that I still need to take more French classes.I say that because my school doesn't have a very good French teacher and doesn't offer French 3. What can I do for my senior year and after highschool to learn French? And what kind of job opportunities can I expect from doing so? Asked by Austin S - Thu Dec 11 22:41:50 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. I don't know, right in France we don't have many jobs because of our economy. Plus, French schools teach English to us when we start grade school. Most of us know basic English by the time we finish school, so translator or lesion wouldn't be good for you. Hopefully when you graduate college the economy will be booming and more international jobs will be open. It's always nice that people are taking interest in French, but be careful about calling it easy. French grammar even confuses us! haha You could become an English teacher in French speaking countries. =) Every country needs teachers. How common is it for French people to smoke cigarettes? Asked by Om... - Sat Aug 15 15:51:47 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Yes I would have said about 30%, more if you count people who like to smoke cannabis once a while. There are less and less smokers now cause cigarettes are expensive. 30% is still a lot, but it was about 50% some years ago (like in the 70's). But a lot of young people smoke (50%) at school and then stop when they are older. I used to smoke myself when I was 12. I stopped at 16. I sometimes have the same feeling than you, cause most of my friends are smokers ( more than 90%).
