I have always thought that he was an american eskimo but i have recently looked at a picture of a japanese sptiz... now i am unsure what he is... can someone tell me what is the difference between an american eskimo and a japanese spitz so i can determine his breed? Asked by xkandiixkaitiex - Tue Jun 12 22:29:26 2007 - - 2 Answers - 1 Comments A. American Eskimos and Japanese Spitz's were bred separately but have something in common; They're both spitz's, which is evidenced by the curled over tail and silky thick fur. His name was Misha. He was a nasty little dog, but the smartest dog I ever had. The accuracy was much better because they were used as hunting rifles and quite different than the "Brown Bess" the British were using. The problem is the British doctrine was to fire a few salvoes then make a bayonet charge. The colonial militias had no bayonet attachments so this obviously didn't bode well for them. As a result they adjusted their strategy to a method that served them better...longer range engagements. I think around 125-150 yards. The musket balls not bullets were I believe .51-.69 caliber. During the civil war in the United States another combination began to be used. The buck and ball which was devastating up close. It was a musket… [cont.] Answered by Marc D - Fri Mar 13 15:29:05 2009 How does the American school system work?
