Nouncomposers
From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. Composers are generally people who write music. In certain musical genres, such as popular and folk music, the term "songwriter" means someone who authors both music and lyrics, but such a person may also be properly called a "composer." If a songwriter also performs, he or she is called a "singer/songwriter."

GNU Free Documentation License How do composers write music for each instrument if each instrument is limited by musical scales? Q. What if a composer writes a composition for an orchestra that has trumpets and flutes and they both have different music scales? Since those instruments can't be played in a chromatic scale, what would happen if the trumpet was in the key of Bb and the flute was in the key of G? They didn't play very much though... usually a few notes with the timpani and that's about it. You'll also notice that older music is all written in the same few keys; C, D, B-flat for example. You didn't see key signatures like G-sharp minor in those… [cont.] Answered by somebody - Wed Dec 17 03:14:25 2008 What are 5 composers that wrote similar music ( classical or show Broadway music) to Leonard Bernstein? Q. Specfically composers from the 1600s to 1800s. I know of alot of them, but I'm going on a classical music phase right now. I enjoy Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Povarotti, Handel, Hadyn, Boccherini, and others. Just suggestions and songs would be wonderful. Thank you!
